These whole dried hibiscus flowers are most commonly used to make a light and refreshing tea that’s drunk hot or cold. Hibiscus tea is a traditional drink in many countries including Mexico where it’s known as flor de Jamaica and in lots of African regions. Dried hibiscus flowers are often combined with other herbs, spices or fruit juices to create fantastic taste fusions. They have a bright, cherry-red colour and tart flavour.
